Apple Crisp Oatmeal

Total Time : 30 minutes | Prep Time : 10 minutes | Servings : 1-2 persons



What?

For Oatmeal:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup coconut milk
3/4 cup water
1/2 apple, diced
1 banana, mashed
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
For Crumble:
2 tbsp. coconut oil
2 tbsp. ground flaxseed
1 tbsp. coconut palm sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon


How?

  1. Add coconut milk, water and oats to saucepan and simmer over low-medium heat.
  2. Add diced apple and ground cinnamon, stir. Add mashed banana to saucepan.
  3. While oatmeal is thickening, in small bowl mix coconut oil, ground flaxseed, coconut sugar and cinnamon with fork.
  4. Once oatmeal is finished cooking, add to bowl and top with crumble mixture.
    Add a few sliced apples and you’re done.
